Scranton is the 6th largest city in Pennsylvania with a population of over 76,000. It is the largest city of the Scranton-Wilkes-Barre-Hazelton metropolis and is the cultural center of the region. Scranton got its start in the anthracite Coal Mining business but later came to be known as the “Electric City” when electric lights were introduced in 1880. There are two locations of Tuxedo By Sarno in Scranton, one along Scranton-Carbondale Hwy and the other on South Washington Ave. Many homes in Scranton are of Victorian Architecture and the city continues to be revitalized re-purposing many buildings which were once abandoned.
